Guzheng is a traditional Chinese plucked zither with a history dating back to 500 B.C. It boasts a rich array of playing techniques. Performers pluck the strings using their right-hand fingernails while employing various movements with their left-hand fingers to achieve vibratos, slides, embellishments, and occasional plucking techniques.
